- Betty's
Summer Vacation (poster
pdf)
Written by CHRISTOPHER DURANG | Directed by PATRICK COLE
March 25, 26, 27; April 1, 2, 3 @ 8 p.m.
Betty, needing a little rest and time by herself, is looking
forward to her summer share by the ocean. But her luck
turns to delicious lunacy when this sensible woman is
drawn into the chaotic world of some very unsavory housemates-her
friend Trudy
who chatters incessantly; the lewd, semi-naked Buck who
tries to have sex with everyone; the sweet, withdrawn
Keith who hides in his room with a shovel, a mysterious
hatbox and just may be a serial killer. Then the emotionally
anarchic landlady, Mrs. Siezmagraff, moves in too; and
she invites a crazy derelict to dinner. With sand between
her toes, walking a thin line between sanity and survival,
poor Betty may leave her summer vacation more terrorized
than tan.

July 15, 16, 17 @ 8 p.m.
Young Josh and Tiff are finishing up a two-week camping
trip in the wilds of New Zealand and run into a few unusual
people in this science fiction comedy. I mean science
fiction thriller. I mean comedy. I mean thriller. Well
... it depends if you are male or female. Uh-oh. That
sounds sexist. I wonder if aliens invading New Zealand
would be sexist? Hm. How confusing. How politically incorrect.
Well ... I mean politically incorrect on the planet earth.
Hm. Let's just say Josh and Tiff go camping in New Zealand
and leave it at that for now. But just for now.
