Glynis Board

Logan P. Chefren
Logan received his BFA in acting from West Virginia University. A regular on the M. T. Pockets' stage, his credits include Kuryatin in Neil Simon's The Good Doctor, Tony in Nicky Silver's Free Will and Wanton Lust, Bobby Preston in Edward Napier’s The English Teachers and Tanner in Barricades. He has also appeared on stage in the roles of Lasher in Jerome McDonough's Roomers, Fedotik in Anton Chekhov's The Three Sisters, Jack in The Boys Next Door, Oscar (which he someday hopes to win) in All Sales Final, and his personal favorite Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Logan has also appeared in a short film called Remembering Bob. Logan aspires to move to Los Angeles or Chicago and pursue an acting career
Patrick Cole
Patrick absolutely adores his home on the wicked M. T. Pockets stage where his performances include Make Way For Winky, An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, Drive By Comedy, and Fuddy Meers.. Patrick received his BFA in acting from West Virginia University in the spring of 2002. His WVU credits include A Winter’s Tale, Bus Stop, The Idiots Karamozov, It’s a Wonderful Life, Pippin, Richard III, Funeral Parlor, 12th Night, Peter Pan, and Naomi in The Living Room. He has provided his talents to the WVPT stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 1776, South Pacific, and Fiddler on the Roof. Patrick plans to continue his work with this cutting-edge establishment for many years to come.

Aaron Crothers
Anthony C. Edwards
Anthony's has appeared in the M. T. Pockets productions of The Quest for Three Onions, Séance at the Chestnut Emporium, The Good Doctor, and An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein. He has also appeared as Carlos in The Magic of Salamanca. A senior in the Studio Program in WVU’s Division of Theatre and Dance, he has been involved backstage on the productions of Pippin, The Magic Flute, Dangerous Liaisons, and It’s a Wonderful Life. His WVU acting credits include 12th Night, The Play About the Baby, The Long Goodbye, and LEAP.
  Eric Gorey
A native of Fairmont, Eric recently moved back to WV after living in Greensboro, NC for 4 years. While attending Fairmont State College he appeared as Foster in Kind Lady, Western in Tom Jones and as a Private First Class in A Few Good Men. At the Stained Glass Theatre in Winston-Salem he appeared as Christopher Wren in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, and as Tony in the Kernersville Little Theatre production of You Can’t Take It With You. He has also worked behind the camera and can bee seen as an extra in the movies Doomsday Man, starring Esai Morales and Yancy Butler, and Above Suspicion starring Scott Bakula and Ed Asner – both filmed in High Point, NC. Eric’s M. T. Pockets performance credits include The Good Doctor, Death of a Miner, and The Wedding from Hell. He has stage managed Waiting for the Parade and The English Teachers.
Charlotte Haas
Charlotte's M. T. Pockets credits include The Good Doctor, The Deer and the Antelope Play, and 'night Mother. Mrs. Haas is a member of the company's Board of Directors. Click her photo to read more about Charlotte.

Kara Haas
Kara received her BFA in acting from WVU in the spring of 2001 and her certification as an actor combatant while employed PA Ren Faireas. Her WVU credits include Dumb Waiter, Hamlet, Dangerous Corner, Guilt by Association, Broadway, The Seagull, and The Ballad of Vincente. She has appeared in Charlotte’s Web and Moon Over Buffalo at the MAC, in addition to directing Private Eyes. At the Roadhouse Theatre in Pennsylvania, she appeared as Trixie in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. After graduation, she acted in a few independent short films, and found herself involved with M. T. Pockets where her directing credits include The Good Doctor and Sexual Perversity in Chicago, and her stage performances include Beauty and the Beast -- On Strings!, The Deer and the Antelope Play, ‘night Mother, Henry IV, Parts I & II and Brilliant Traces. Kara is co-coordinator of the company's Improv Troupe.


John Harper
John Harper, is very excited to be part of M. T. Pockets Theatre - having recently appeared in his personal favorite production as Danny in David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity In Chicago. Other M. T. Pockets credits include Jess/Billy in Barricade and Jeremy Parnell in Ballpark and the Carousel,both written by Jeremiah Munsey. John has also appeared as Elvis in Picasso at Lapin Agile, Clov in Samuel Beckett’s End Game, Sabastian in William Shakespeare’s The Tempest, Billy in Tiny Town Girl, and Lucas in Leap. One can catch John, aka Johnny Harmonic every Saturday from 8 to 10 PM WVU's U92 Urban Dinner, or as at appearances of  SoundVizion, a local hip-hop and r&b band. "If there is a stage to perform on SoundVizion will be in the building."
Fran Hofer Jones
Fran is a native of Morgantown and has been performing on stage since the age of 12. Her M. T. Pockets Theatre credits include The Deer and the Antelope Play, Make Way for Winky, An Adult Evening With Shel Silverstein, The English Teachers and Fuddy Meers.. She also appeared in the MAC production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as Nurse Ratched and was the voice of Gretchen in Dr. Faustus: A Puppet Nightmare at WVU. Fran is currently pursuing a BFA in Acting at WVU.
Angela Lacey
Angela has appeared in M.T. Pockets' murder mystery dinner theatre productions of Make Way for Winky, The Wedding from Hell, Sammie Bird, Vintage Murder and Final Cut, as well as Waiting for the Parade, The English Teachers, The Vic, Drive By Comedy, Fuddy Meers,On Man's Plight, Voices in the Woods and The Diet Monologues. Angela is a member of the company's Board of Directors.
Suzanne Lawrence
Jay Malarcher, Ph.D,
Dr. Malarcher's professional experience includes teaching at Muhlenberg College, the University of Southwestern Louisiana and Louisiana State University, as well as serving as dramaturg with the Dog & Pony Theatre Company, Swine Palace Productions, the McCarter Theatre, the King William Players and Playmakers Professional Children's Theatre. His M. T. Pockets credits include Four Dogs and A Bone, Look Back in Anger, and the staged-reading of Master William Bowlinggreen and Company. As a playwright, he has had original plays produced at Southern Rep, Village Gate, the Contemporary Arts Center, and Positive Space Gallery. He has performed with the Summer Music Theatre at Muhlenberg, Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, and the Dog & Pony Theatre Company, among others. In 2001, he appeared in the 100 Monkeys production of Four Dogs and A Bone at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. At WVU, he has performed the role of Franklin in It's a Wonderful Life and recently he performed the title role in Frank Gagliano's Father Uxbridge Wants to Marry to open the 2003–2004 season. Glimpses of him may be seen in the films JFK (Oliver Stone) and Angel Heart (Alan Parker). Professionally, Malarcher has directed extensively in Louisiana and everywhere he has taught. At WVU he directed the Spring 2000 production of Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and the Fall 2000 production of Dancing at Lughnasa. For the 2001-02 season, Dr. Malarcher adapted It's A Wonderful Life as the holiday offering, and as well as directed The Idiots Karamazov as the last show of the season. In the spring of 2004, he directed Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile. His book The Classically American Comedy of Larry Gelbart has been published by The Scarecrow Press. He is currently working on a book of comedy theory, tentatively titled The Situation of Comedy, for the edwin Mellen Press.
Jerry McGonigle
Jerry's M. T. Pockets credits include directing Full Gallop,directing/acting in /Four Dogs and A Bone and The Matchmaker; and providing directorial guidance for the staged-reading of Master William Bowlinggreen and Company. Most recently he has acted for The Contemporary American Theatre Festival where he has performed in the premiere of Joyce Carol Oates' Black and Victor Bumbalo's What Are Tuesdays Like? He directed the short film Getting Over Arnette for public television, and most recently, the independent film The Man Who Stole the Moon. His WVU directing credits include Killing Game, The Hot L Baltimore, Cloud Nine, Three Sisters, King Lear, A Lie of the Mind, All My Sons, Dangerous Corner, Macbeth, It's a Wonderful Life, The Ghost Sonata, and The Time of Your Life. McGonigle is a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Peter Medley
Peter’s foray into acting started about 15 years ago when he played the part of Linus in the musical You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. In 2002 he became involved in community theatre in Morgantown with One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the MAC. He followed this up with An Adult Evening With Shel Silverstein at M. T. Pockets, his home away from home. You Can’t Take It With You and The Tempest were subsequently done at the MAC. Back home at M. T. Pockets he appeared in Drive By Comedy, Vintage Murder (murder mystery) and The Diet Monologues as well as taking part in an Open Mike Night where he read some original poetry. Peter has also performed two of the monologues from Drive By Comedy over the last three years for a men’s health class at the Health Science’s Center. Peter has appeared in a TV commercial for United Hospital in Bridgeport. Peter's technical credits include lights and sound for The Guys and Someone To Watch Over Me.

Jeremiah Munsey  
Raquel Nethken
M. T. Pockets audiences will remember her as Madame Zodiac, in Séance at the Chestnut Emporium, but may have also seen her as Maria in Lend Me a Tenor, Madge Laraby in Sherlock Holmes, or The Tortured Woman in her one woman cabaret of the same name. Other M.T. Pockets credits includes The Good Doctor, The Anniversary of Miss Nanette Pringle, Death of a Miner, The Shape of Things, The Wedding from Hell, Sammie Bird, Vintage Murder, Waiting for the Parade (director) and The Diet Monologues (performer/director). Raquel has worked as key make-up and hair artist on several feature films such as Paradise Park and music videos like The Short Brothers, Family Ties and P.A.R.T.Y. Raquel is a member of the company's Board of Directors.
Ron Weaver
Ron quickly became a favorite to M. T. Pockets' audiences by sharing his unique talent and sense of humor freely.  His acting career began rather reluctantly when he was coerced into performing in a project show for his wife, Toni. Having a knack for making people laugh and a natural ease on the stage he has continued to entertain the masses with performances of the womanizing Dr. Pepper in The Death of Dr. Pepper, and Uncle Dwezel in Voices in the Woods He has also appeared, again under coercion, with his wife in Love Letters as well as, What's On The Menu?, Shiraz, and numerous murder-mystery productions.
Cliff Wilson*
Cliff is a regular on the M. T. Pockets stage having appeared in Voices in the Woods, The Anniversary of Miss Nanette Pringle, An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, The Death of Dr. Pepper, Make Way for Winky, Séance at the Chestnut Emporium, The Wedding from Hell, Sammie Bird, Drive By Comedy, Vintage Murder, Fuddy Meers, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and What's On the Menu?. Cliff appears in the independent film The Man Who Stole the Moon and can be seen in a local commercial by Rutter Media. Cliff received a degree in Communications from Fairmont State University.
