A young man flies his private plane to rural North
Carolina and tracks down a stranger, an older man
who lives on the desolate and wild shores of Pamlico Sound. The young man begins to ominously interrogate
the older man for knowledge he feels he is entitled and “destined” to learn. During their revealing hour of
wine-consuming conversation, and despite constant interruptions from eccentric neighbors, the two men
discover from their colliding histories that "truth"
