Auditions -- The Frontier Trilogy
Directed by Mara Monaghan
NOTES ON CASTING:
Can be done with a minimum of 4 actors (3m, 2f). Father Manoah/Jack Mason MUST be the same actor (and would greatly prefer if it is the same actor across all three).
Ages are moderately flexible, especially due to double casting opportunities.
The Clock Strikes Noon
Trapped, guns near empty, the clock is ticking. Walker must make the choice: to do what’s easy, or to do what’s right. The railroad shines like a beacon of the modern age; for the people of Cooper’s Ridge, it brings only darkness.
Ben Walker - Farmer, 30-40; calm, strong and a natural leader
Sheriff Felix - lawman 30-40; Insecure and paranoid; defensive and hostile
Lillian Davenport - daughter of Railroad mogul,
25-35; very intelligent, cutthroat, politely civil
Father Manoah - Priest of the Chapel; powerful and has a gravity that demands attention
The Rattlesnake’s Kiss
Hidden deep in the dust of the American West, the outlaw comes face to face with the lawman in search of justice. His life of murder is far behind, but can he ever escape the man he was born to become?
Father Manoah - Priest of the Chapel; noble and religious; respected and feared
US Marshall - lawman 25-30; young and theatrical but confident.
Elena - former concubine, now wife, 20-25; Brave, fearless and kind hearted
Silas - Veneno Gang member, 25-40; Cruel, poorly educated
Jack Mason - Former right hand man of the gang 20-25; dangerous yet remorseful gunslinger
Theodore Leon - Head of the gang, 40-50; Violent and blood thirsty, but level headed. Enjoys other’s pain perhaps a little too much.
