As soon as we announced that our next show would be "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" the buzz factor jumped. People were begging for auditon dates so they could mark their calendars and audiences were excited for the opportunity to see a live, stage version. Once director Mara Monaghan had her cast set, which she shared was difficult to do because of the great auditions by so many people, she was ready to hit the boards and get to work. Along with fight choreography, Missy Ryan, Mara and the cast have been hard at work preparing for opening night. Keep checking back as they each take a moment in the coming weeks to share their perspectives of preparing for their roles in this classicTom Stoppard comedic tale of two clowns...
We are very excited to announce that there will be a special talk back session after the last performance on Sat., Feb. 20 with the director, cast and Tony Burgess. Mr. Burgess will skype in for the chat. Below, a few fun pics from tech last night.
As we prepare for the second show of our 2015 Season, we asked Director Josh Rocchi to give us few minutes and tell us why he was drawn to "Pontypool" and what is rolling around in his head for the set. Check back next week for another Pre-Show Review when we talk with a few of the actors as they dive into their roles.
