It is the policy of M. T. Pockets Theatre that all auditions are open to the public. We need and want any interested people, newcomers and stage veterans alike, to participate in the fun and excitement of live theatre. We publicize our auditions in local and regional media to attempt to make all interested parties aware of our performing opportunities. Because the directors of our plays only have limited roles for which they are casting, everybody who auditions will not be selected for a part. However, we always need assistance in other areas of theatre, including set construction, set painting, lighting, stage management, backstage technical activities, etc., so people who are not selected for acting roles have other enjoyable activities available. We invite all members of the public to participate in these activities, as well.
Auditions are generally held at the very least 6-8 weeks prior to production run dates but earlier when possible.
If you would like to be added to the Audition/Volunteer Contact List, please complete and submit the Volunteer Form.
It is highly recommended that anyone interested in auditioning see at least one M. T. Pockets Theatre production to become familiar with our work, our mission and our space.
Anyone interested in auditioning, but is unable to be at the posted auditions MUST contact the director BEFORE audition dates to schedule an alternate audition time.
