Julie is a young girl who likes to visit the zoo. She has many animal friends there, but seeks comfort with one particular animal, the Hyena. Through her confessions and discussion with the scavenger we discover Julie has a terrible home life full of abuse. She plays out the possible scenarios of the burdens she bares in heart touching dialogue to the mixed reactions of the Hyena. By the end, the comparison of the caged animals versus the 'un-caged' animals leave the audience with thought compelling conflict.
